Above are scenes from Code Geass R1 (Season 1). The second season began last week.

It's basically about an alternate universe (AU) where Britannia (basically Great Britain) is essentially the only worldwide power. Britannia takes over Japan, renames in Area 11 and is generally a bitch to all Japanese. The story is about a high school student Lelouch, who gains a power called the Geass and decides to fight back against Britannia.

Obviously watching a show is better than reading my crappy summaries, so go download and watch. Subs by Ureshii/AnimeKaiten/Shinsen are better than GG's subs.

Eh, Suzaku doesn't annoy me that much. He's a lot better as a protagonist/antagonist than friggin' Kira Yamamoto (Jesus-kun) or L are.

Because in this case my double post isn't spam. The first one contains an actual scene from the show while the second contains a bunch of amusing shops of the original scene. To put them in one post would make it seem cluttered.

Obviously, Code Geass is an anime show.

Season 1 is airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Airs every Saturday at 12:30 AM.

I pronouce it GEE-ass. Though you can probably say the "gee" like in the word "geese"
